I had our housekeeper cook (Ibu Inem) make Dallin a cake which turned out more like really hard brownies. Bless Inem's heart, we had no mixer, no wisk, no recipes at the time, she mixed the cake with a fork so it never got fluffy or really well mixed. Then come to find out, the apartment we were staying in sends a complimentary cake on birthdays from their restaurant, so Dallin got 2 cakes and the kids actually like the hard brownies better. Go figure!
